Brady Allred

Brady is a graduate student advisor currently working on his MS degree in Instructional Psychology and Technology. He graduated from BYU in the Spring of 2022 with a BS in Psychology and a Minor in Family Life. Brady enjoys helping students work towards their goals and progress on their academic journey.

Jeff Buell

Jeff adheres to the model of treating all people with dignity, worth, and respect. He is a first generation college student and considers it a privilege in helping BYU students. He finds it rewarding to assist students to identify their individual strengths, vision, and purpose in contributing to BYU and society. Jeff has worked in multiple advising roles on and off campus and he is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Melanie Burton

Melanie Burton is an Academic & Career Advisor who has worked in several campus advising areas as well as with campus-wide advisor professional development. She helped design the Test Preparation and Testing Strategies student development course, and has worked closely with first generation and at-risk students.

Our Peer Academic Study Specialists

Peer Academic Study Specialists work with individuals who are experiencing challenges which impact academics. We do this by addressing students' roadblocks, habits, and behaviors. Once we understand the main challenge, we facilitate access to resources and teach study skills to help overcome the challenge. Appointments last 30 minutes and are held as often as you feel necessary.
